Priyanka Nath, a singer-songwriter from Hyderabad has released her new single, ‘Stay with you,’ a serene song about a person describing her time with her lover; the uncertainties that come with falling in love again, the stories they share that only bind them closer with time, and the mere thought of having someone to share bits and pieces of your life with. The track is simple with a mere guitar and piano background.

‘Stay With You’ is a graceful track, consisting of light-weight guitars that are complemented by soft pianos and soothing vocals to encapsulate the simple and innocent romance. Over top, Priyanka comes through with some heartfelt vocals that draw the listener in with their elegant melodies. Overall, “Stay With You” is an engaging release from Priyanka Nath that mixes relatability with catchy songwriting.
The song sprouted following a frantic phone argument, Priyanka explains. “I got into an argument on the phone with someone and upon furiously cutting the call and shedding a tear or two, I felt this urge to put feelings into words. I quickly put pen to paper without wanting to miss out on any of those feelings. After a point, it almost felt like I didn’t want to let go of the pain just so that I could complete the song. But no, I didn’t do any such thing and put my brain through more turmoil. Woke up fresh the next day and completed the second verse of the song.”
From this release, it is evident that Priyanka has a lot to offer as an artist, and one can only hope for more from her soon.
